This morning after a quick stop off at Rainbow Beach, just south of Fraser Island, we’ll head straight to the largest sand island in the world. Our vehicle will board the barge to cross the Great Sandy Strait (where we’ll hopefully spot some dolphins) to K'gari, formerly known as Fraser Island. We will then travel inland along sand tracks through heathlands towards our next destination... Lake McKenzie. Here we will have plenty of time for swimming and relaxing by the lake! Lunch will be an “Aussie Style Bush Picnic” - now we're living our best Aussie lives! After having a final wonder through Central Station (which is nothing like the one in The Big Apple!) Sadly this magical day has to come to and end but this magnificent rainforest is the perfect way to end our time here on K'gari. Epic East Coast Trip
Maddy in one word is amazing! The trip wouldn’t have been the same without her as our guide. She really brought the group together on night one with an icebreaker and from there we were all joking non-stop. She always gave us lots of ideas of things we could do in our free time and was always there to answer our endless questions. Her pool skills are mad and her cooking skills are top-notch! I loved the wholesome meals and singalongs we shared. She took us to all the best spots to eat and drink and told us fun facts on the way to each destination :). I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone wanting to explore Australia for the first time! I couldn’t have wished for a better trip! We love you Maddy!!!

Australia East Coast Tour
Maddy is everything you want in a tour guide. She is very knowledgeable, punctual entertaining and patient. She has a unique ability to build rapport with anyone. She has a great relationship with managers at all the venues/accommodation which in turn made our experience more comfortable. Maddy regularly offers to lend a helping hand whether it be before, during or organising plans after the trip. I have no doubt that with Maddy as the tour guide, future travellers will have the time of their life on this tour!

EPIC East Coast. Don’t think just book, you won’t regret it!
This trip has been the best thing I have ever done, I don’t even know where to begin. Not only was every day filled with fun activities and new experience, but it was also filled with fun, laughter and love. Meeting new people, who quickly became friends for life was a particular highlight - even on the odd rainy day we all still had smiles on our faces. But no tour can be complete without having the BEST tour guide - Maddy Guner. She was our tour guide by chance, but a friend by choice. She made everyone in the group feel so welcome from the offset. Her big sister and best friend nature is a trait you would want in any tour guide and her energy is just infectious. WHEN I do another Tru Travels tour there is no other tour guide I would like than THE Maddy Guner.

Australia was amazing! Maddy, the best tour leader!
I had a great time with Maddy as a tour leader. She made us feel safe and comfortable during the trip. She daily sent us messages on “whats up” to inform us about the next day and what to bring. She was organized group leader, but at the same time it felt like she was our friend as well, and we had so much time together!!! She was funny, energetic, and helpfulk if we had any queations or needed to sort stuff out! I reallye recommend doing the tour! And i hope u get Maddy as a tour leader, because if u do, u will have the best tour! Christiane Keltie

BEST TOUR EVER!!!
! I have had to best time ever, from start to end everything was amazing. I couldn’t pick one part of the tour that I liked the most because I loved every second. Having Maddy as a guide is like going on holiday with your best friend. Maddy made my experience. She is knowledgeable, fun, funny and energetic. WE LOVE MADDY. She has made everyone feel so comfortable and I feel really sad that it is over as we have become a family. WE WILL MISS YOU MADDY. I would 100% recommend this tour to everyone I know.

Australia Adventures
My tour in Australia was one of the best experiences I have ever had. My first Tru Travels trip to Southern Thailand gave me the confidence to do this solo, and I’m so pleased that I did because I have made a number of great friends whilst on tour. Our guide Maddy really made this experience what it was, and I can think of no better person to show us her beautiful country and teach us about its rich history. We have seen a number of world heritage sites and places of natural beauty whilst learning so much about the indigenous people of Australia and how past events have shaped the places we visited. The tour moved at a perfect pace and I ticked off a number of bucket list items, such as Sydney, the Whitsundays, and the Great Barrier Reef. I would recommend this trip to anyone. Thank you Maddy! :)
