We’ll pick you up from the airport and bring you back to our hotel in the lively district of Makati. Here you’ll meet the rest of your group, and your guide. In the evening, we’ll head out for dinner and drinks to get know one another.
We’ll fly to Puerto Princesa the following morning - known as the ‘Gateway to Palawan’. We’ll head to Port Barton first - a beautiful, quiet fishing village; stopping to have lunch with a local family, getting a feel for the local culture and cuisine.
It’s now time to jump onboard a boat trip, exploring the beautiful islands surrounding Port Barton. We’ll stop at several snorkel spots looking for turtles, view the reef and of course, some amazing beaches. We’ll also stop at a small fishing village for lunch (included) and then in the afternoon, a waterfall visit. We’ll hit the bars in town after dinner.
Today it’s time to pack your stuff and head to one of the most popular destinations in the Philippines – El Nido! Enjoy a cheeky dip and chill at a waterfall, before getting settled into our El Nido accommodation. We’ll head out for dinner and explore the nightlife in the evening. Breakfast included.
El Nido is famous for the islands that surround it, so it would be criminal not to get enjoy a boat trip around them. We visit some of the most stunning locations the region has to offer, so make to have that camera charged. We’ll also enjoy a delicious local lunch. We’ll get back to our hotel before sunset, so be sure to grab a drink to watch it. Chill out for a while, before we meet later again for dinner.
It’s time to explore El Nido by land today. First for the thrillseekers, we’ll zip-line across the ocean to another island on the Las Cabanas Beach Zipline. It’s a lot of fun! After zip-lining we head to Nacpan beach, also known as El Nido’s ‘twin beaches’ to chill out and enjoy some quality beach time We enjoy the incredible sunset from the beach and then head back into town to enjoy the nightlife.
We begin today early, as we take the fast boat across to Coron Island. After a break for lunch, we begin a 3 day/2 night Red Carabao Coron Castaway Expedition. We stay at Camp Carabao – basic beach-style bungalow accommodation, complete with private beach. Meet the locals, and get a feel for the local Tagbanua way of life, participate in cultural activities, such as spearfishing, coffee brewing, mat weaving, and an indigenous Filipino cooking class.
Enjoy more island hopping and local history today; a walking historial tour of Culion town, and spend the afternoon snorkelling at shipwrecks. We’ll spend our final night here at our Castaway-style accommodation; enjoying a local Filipino dinner, after an optional beach clean up.
Today we head back to Coron Island. We’ll visit the lagoon that made Coron famous, and then enjoy an optional hike to the viewpoint just in time for sunset, before dinner in Coron town. Cap off the day with the rest of the group over a few drinks in town.
Board a flight to Cebu, for the second half of your trip. Settle in for our first night in the east islands of the Philippines. Relax in the hotel, then in the evening, enjoy dinner and a few drinks in town.
Today we pack up and head to our 2nd destination - the seaside town of Moalboal. On the way we stop by the famous Simala Church, a magnificent building that is very popular among the locals. After a bit of a walking tour and history lesson, we continue on to Moalboal where we have a free afternoon to explore the town.
Moalboal is home to the Sardine Run, you’ll snorkel with millions of sardines, which will glisten as the sunlight reflects off the massive school of fish. Here is one of only two place in the world they’re found in such big numbers. We board a boat for some island hopping, visiting some amazing coral reefs, home to plenty of tropical fish and hopefully see some turtles. Optional diving is available too for those keen. We’ll head out to one of the best bars in town in the evening, to enjoy the local nightlife
Today we visit one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in the Philippines - Kawasan waterfalls! We’ll spend plenty of time floating downstream and swimming through some of the most amazing scenery you’ll ever see before reaching the falls themselves. Enjoy a lazy evening to recharge before moving to our next destination tomorrow, Siquijor Island.
Travel across to Siquijor Island, where we will check into our accommodation for the next couple of nights. You will have the rest of the afternoon to chill by the pool or on the beach. For most Filipinos, Siquijor is a mysterious place of witchcraft and the unknown. It’s famous for its mountain-dwelling mangkukulam (healers) who brew traditional ointments for modern ailments. Nowadays though, most popular healing practices include a cocktail in the sunshine.
It’s time to explore the island’s highlights and hidden gems. We visit the healers to see what they get up to; then in the afternoon, we’ll have time to check out epic mountain views, local caves and waterfalls, before finishing the day at the beach in time for sunset
Make your way from Siquijor back to the mainland, where we’ll catch a flight across to Siargao, dubbed “The Surfing Capital of the Philippines”. We arrive in the late afternoon, where we check into our final accommodation on the trip. We’ll have dinner, then opt to spend the evening chilling out at the resort/on the beach, or head out for the evening to enjoy the town’s lively nightlife.
Being the ‘Surfing Capital’ it would be a crime not to grab a board and give it a go yourself. We’ll set you up with a knowledgeable instructor, to teach you the basics, before getting riding some waves. We’ll spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach and enjoying the resort facilities. The night is then yours to spend it how you like, chilled and relaxed, or out on the town.
For our final full day, it’s time to board a boat, where we’ll visit three different, beautiful islands off the coast of Siargao Island. We’ll spend the entire day snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters, kicking back on white sandy beaches, and generally enjoying our last full day in Paradise. Seeing as it’s our last night as a group, we will arrange a farewell dinner to cap an awesome 18 days.
Today is where our adventure together comes to and end. The fun doesn’t have to stop here though.
