FRASER ISLAND IS CALLING! One of the biggest and best things to do on the east coast of Australia and we’re taking you there! An early departure from the Sunshine Coast begins with a scenic drive through the Toolara State Forest and Cooloola National Park. This morning after a quick stop off at Rainbow Beach, just south of Fraser Island, we’ll head straight to the largest sand island in the world. Our vehicle will board the barge to cross the Great Sandy Strait (where we’ll hopefully spot some dolphins) to K'gari, formerly known as Fraser Island. We will then travel inland along sand tracks through heathlands towards our next destination... Lake McKenzie. Here we will have plenty of time for swimming and relaxing by the lake! Lunch will be an “Aussie Style Bush Picnic” - now we're living our best Aussie lives! After having a final wonder through Central Station (which is nothing like the one in The Big Apple!) Sadly this magical day has to come to and end but this magnificent rainforest is the perfect way to end our time here on K'gari.
