EGYPT TRAVEL ADVICE

THE BEST TIME TO VISIT

The best time to visit Egypt is from October to April, when temperatures are much more manageable for exploring ancient sites. Winter (December-February) is peak season for a reason; it's warm and dry, perfect for the Pyramids, Luxor, and cruising the Nile.

TRANSPORT

Getting around Egypt is an adventure in itself! Trains connect Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan and are a great way to travel between cities. On our tours, all transport is fully sorted, so you don't need to worry about getting around!

CUISINE & FOOD

Must-tries include Koshari (a legendary street food of lentils, pasta, tomato sauce and crispy onions) and ta'ameya (Egyptian-style falafel). Fresh flatbread, mezze spreads, and grilled meats are everywhere.

VISA ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Most nationalities need a visa to enter Egypt, and a visa on arrival is available for many passport holders at major airports. Always check your government's official travel website before you fly to confirm requirements for your nationality!
