It's our first morning waking up in India and prepare for it to be a mega one. We set off on a walking tour around Dehli guided by the Salaam Balak Trust, one of the most trusted non-profit organisations for street children in Delhi. Learn about how they support children who live on the streets and provide them with opportunities and care before visiting their headquarters to meet some of the children. After a jam-packed day, we’ll head back to freshen up before dinner with the group.

Get stuck into learning how to make some traditional Indian dishes today with a hands-on authentic Indian cooking class and prepare for your taste buds to tingle, before setting off to head for Agra. We’ll have a chilled evening preparing for an early start the next day and get excited to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World! Make sure your cameras are fully charged as tomorrow is going to be an unforgettable day!

An early start this morning as we get up in time to catch the sunrise at the majestic Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world and a must-see place when travelling India. It feels like you are standing in a postcard as you come closer and see it with your own eyes. We spend a few hours here learning all about how it was built and the story behind it as you walk around the site and explore inside where you get to see the tombs where they are buried. This afternoon, we head to a beautiful palace for a delicious buffet lunch before our journey to Ranthambore National Park.

Day 5


This morning at sunrise, we jump in jeeps for a safari through the National Park. We hope your cameras are charged as you are about to encounter some real special wildlife (fingers crossed)! You will see a huge array of local wildlife such as monkeys, crocodiles, peacocks, deer, and if you are lucky, you can even see wild tigers which is an amazing experience! The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the area soaking up the sun and chilling.

Today we travel to Jaipur, the largest city of Rajasthan and another 'must-see' place in India, known as the ‘pink city’. The whole city is washed with this beautiful pink colour and it is vibrant and full of life. The afternoon is fairly chilled for you to explore the area, grab some souvenirs and try some delicious street food and a chai tea if you fancy. Get your dancing shoes at the ready as we head for a taste true Indian culture with a Bollywood dance class at our hotel in the evening.

Day 7


As we wake up in the city of Jaipur, prepare for an action-packed day today as we explore the pink city. We visit the Hawa Mahal, an extraordinary palace, originally built for the ladies of the house to watch the outside world through its many windows. Apparently, there were over 900 of them! Then we go to Jaipur City Palace, before heading up to the fort in 4x4’s where you can get an amazing view of the city. The perfect spot to get your Insta-worthy snaps! In the evening we head to the airport for our flight to Kerala.

After the hustle and bustle of the city life, it's now time to chill out, kick back and relax. It is time to experience a completely different side to India, exploring the south and the beautiful beaches it has to offer. Enjoy sleeping and wake up anytime you like before heading to the beach to soak up those rays and top up your tan and have a beer (or two, or three). This is your free day so enjoy some relaxation!

Enjoy waking up in paradise and having a spot of breakfast before heading out on our traditional houseboat, a must-do activity in Kerela. We’ll spend all afternoon cruising through the stunning scenery of the backwaters and enjoying lunch, all included. Once we get back in the evening we’ll freshen up and get ready for our final dinner on our India travels together.

It’s time to say your goodbyes as it’s check-out day today. Whether you are heading home or continuing your travels, your group leader will be hands-on to help you out with your continuous travel plans. Which airport do I need to fly into?

You need to fly into New Delhi international airport (DEL). Please note that in order to enter India you need an onward ticket exiting the country and also a visa. If this is your first time to India you will need to have the visa printed.

What is the closest airport to the end destination?

The closest airport to the end destination is Kerala (COK). If you plan to fly back to Delhi, please allow plenty of time before your international flight home from Delhi as it takes about 3 hours to fly from Kerala back to Delhi.

How do I get back to the start destination and is this included in the price? If not, how much is it?

No it is not included in the price. You can get a flight from Kerala back to New Delhi which takes around 3 hours and costs roughly £50-£80 but obviously flights go up and down all the time.

What kind of accommodation is included on this trip?

The accommodation on this trip in twin share and you will stay in hotels.

What is the currency?

The currency for India is Indian Rupees (INR).
