Bali Backpacker - 12 Day Trip

Morning! Today we are headed out for a day of culture - you'll be picked up by our amazing guide Wayan and taken to some of the most amazing local temples. We'll head to Taman Ayun first and then Tanah Lot (that's the one you will have seen ALL over your FYP.) It's a busy day exploring, but Wayan's passion for Bali and his beautiful soul make this first full day in Bali one to remember. In the evening, we'll head back to the hostel to chill before venturing out to watch the sunset, get some dinner and boogie the night away, of course!

You know, we've not made the most of the famous Uluwatu beaches yet, so that's where we are headed today! We'll spend the day at Melasti beach letting our competitive side out in games of volleyball and frisbee. This is your chance to try out a surf lesson if you fancy - if you don't, no problem, this beach is the perfect place to grab a book, soak in the rays and catch up on some sleep too! In the evening, we'll head out to the famous Single Fin for dinner and drinks - if you haven't heard of it, Google it, it's incredible!

This morning we'll wake up and get packed, ready to travel to our second location of the trip - Canggu! It's not a long journey and we'll arrive there early afternoon. We have a free afternoon to explore as you wish, head to the beach, sit in a bar with a Bintang or explore the shops. In the evening, we'll experience a classic Canggu night out. There are some great spots here, so we are in for a treat!

Want to explore more of Canggu's famous local markets? This morning we'll walk over to Love Anchor to get some cute jewellery, fun t-shirts and some souvenirs for your friends back home (remember them?) After some lunch, we'll head to Finn's, you'll have heard of this iconic beach club - the sunsets here are special and it's such a vibe! In the evening, you can head back to the hostel or carry on the night at Finn's and the bars nearby, completely up to you!

Say goodbye to Canggu, we're on our way to Ubud, the home of chilled vibes and spirituality. There's lots to do in Ubud, so we have left the afternoon free so you can do as you'd like, head to the infamous Monkey Forest, head to some more markets, do a spot of yoga or get a massage. In the evening we'll go for some food. There are so many good restaurants here, luckily, your amazing Tru leader is on hand to show you the top spots!

Feeling peckish, same! This morning, we are headed to a cooking class, and of course, this wouldn't be complete without a trip to the markets! Our amazing cooking teachers will pick us up and show us where they buy their fresh ingredients and spices before taking us to their home for a traditional lesson in all things Nasi Goreng and Morning Glory (IYKYK). This afternoon we'll walk around the famous traditional market in Ubud before going for yet another amazing dinner and a few beers if you fancy!

We couldn't bring you all the way here without showing you the famous Tegalalang rice terraces. We'll walk around the lush green landscape and get photos on the swings and ziplines if you fancy! After we've got the perfect pic for Insta, we'll have some chilled time back at the hostel before heading out for our final night in Ubud!

Don't tell the others, but today we're heading to our favourite spot...Gili T! With incredible beaches, turtles, no cars and endless coconuts, this place is close to paradise. We'll get up early and jump on a boat over to the island and check into the hostel. If you're anything like us, you'll want to head straight to the beach so there's a free afternoon for you to explore and relax. Your Tru Leader will show you the best spots for a sunset beer as a group and, of course, a good old boogie!

Did someone say island-hopping boat trip! YES PLEASE! We're jumping on a glass-bottomed boat for a day of snorkelling around Turtle Point and some other amazing spots between the islands. We'll stop at Gili Meno for lunch and a recharge before exploring an amazing coral reef on our way back to Gili T. This is a dreamy day and one you will never forget. This evening, we can head out for another sunset or have some chilled time before a group dinner, sharing our amazing stories and awesome photos.

Another day in paradise! Wake up and spend the morning as you'd like, explore the island, do some more snorkelling or just relax on the beach. This afternoon, we'll jump on some bikes and head to some of your Tru Leaders' favourite spots on the island before ending up on a beach for a sunset beer, of course! It's our final night on tour, so we'll go out with a bang, we'll share some memories, take some final group shots and maybe even shed a few tears...

This morning we'll check out and head off on our next adventure. The past 12 days have FLOWN by, we can't believe it's over! Wherever you are headed next, your Tru Leader will be on hand to make sure you know how to get there. See you next time!
