This whistle-stop tour of Mexico will cover the idyllic beaches, a wonder of the world and of course some of the best food and drink in the world. This is nacho average trip - oh no, it's much more than that. We're starting in Cancun before jumping over to Holbox, it's a real slice of paradise! Merida is next, here we'll see Chichen Itza and swim in the magical cenotes, not heard of these? Google them now! These "natural sinkholes" are insane!

We're starting in Cancun! Caribbean ocean and white sand beaches - that's the vibe we're going for! Cancun is the perfect place to start, it's close to the airport and ideal for easing into the Mexican way of life! Want to explore like a local? Wander over to Market 28, Parque de las Palapas and Cancun Beach to browse dozens of Mexican clothing boutiques and accessory stalls. In the evening, it’s time for our welcome dinner where you can get to know your new travel friends aka TruFam, over dinner and a few cervezas by the pool. Salud!
We're moving onto Holbox! We're not wasting any time - we're searching for an insane beach straight away! We'll catch a boat over to Holbox and enjoy a chilled afternoon as a group. We can spend the afternoon getting to know each other and watch the sunset in one of the most gorgeous spots - get your cameras ready! Mexico sunsets are known to be legendary!
Enjoy a chilled morning before we head out on a busy day! Today is all about exploring and discovering the stunning magic of the islands. We'll visit Bird Island and then head over to the ‘’Eye Of The Water’’ cenote, an amazing natural sinkhole with freshwater springs in the middle of mangroves! You have to see it to believe it because it is magical! Finally, we’re off to Passion Island which is home to flocks of PINK FLAMINGOS! Yes, they are pink - yet another magical moment on day 3 - we're spoiling you already! Next, it’s time to hop back onto our boat and enjoy a few beers if you fancy it (or your drink of choice, you do you boo.)
Note: Like all wild animals, it might not be possible to see flamingos at certain times of the year! Travel from April to October for the best chance of spotting some :)
It's time! We are off to one of the seven wonders of the world, The Mayan Site of Chichen Itza, a must-see! We will leave Holbox early and once we arrive, we’ll have a guided tour to learn about the amazing history of the Mayan civilisation. After ticking this amazing landmark off our bucket list, it’s time to head to Cenote Yokdzonot. Once we’ve had an afternoon splashing about, floating on our backs and looking up to an unreal view, it’s, unfortunately, time to leave. But fear not, more good times are pending as we head off to Merida and arrive in the early evening. We’ll go on an orientation walk around the city to see all the spectacular sights. Welcome to Merida!
Get ready to venture slightly outside of Merida, cycle between three stunning cenotes, with a spot of lunch along the way - we'll have earnt a big'old meal! After we’ve spent our day swimming in the Cenotes, we’ll head back to main town Merida to chill out for a few hours, before it’s time to get ready for our evening of Tequila Tasting Baby!!! We'll head out to sample some delicious local food, or what we like to call, the ultimate Mexican feast! Tacos & burritos galore! After we’re all tequila’d out, why not try out some salsa dancing at one of the many bars dotted around Merida?
Rise and shine Chicas and Chicos! It's our last full day in Mexico - we're not crying you are! This morning we'll wave goodbye to Merida and set off towards Playa del Carmen, arriving in the early afternoon. It's up to you how you want to spend your final afternoon on tour, relax on the beach, check out the best beach bars around or just enjoy exploring Playa del Carmen! We'll then all get together for our final evening together as a group - let's make it a good one!
It's checkout day! It's going to be emotional and if we're honest we're not quite ready to say goodbye...Time really does fly when you’re having fun. The first stop on our incredible Mexico's Yucatán Experience tour is Cancún! This hotel is situated on the Riviera Maya, is located just 20 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from the ADO bus station where you can catch a $1 ride to the closest beach, fancy a relaxing day? The pool's pretty cool too! Perfection!

After a fun night out in Cancún, we head to the next accommodation just a short distance from Playa Holbox. Our hotel in Isla Holbox is the ideal place for recovery.

After Isla Holbox, we go inland! Our lovely, authentic hotel in Merida is located in the historic centre of Mérida and is just a 10-minute walk from Merida's Cathedral, within walking distance from lots of local restaurants so you can get a real feel for Mexican cuisine and culture! If you want to escape from city life a bit, this hotel has an outdoor pool that you can paddle around in, which is set in a stunning garden.

This hotel is just 4 blocks from Playa del Carmen Beach but if an outdoor pool is more your vibe, then not to fear!!! This hotel has a great outdoor pool on its sun terrace. Located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, there are lots of shops and restaurants to check out nearby so there's lots to keep you going in your final destination. This hotel is also quite close to Cancún airport so onward travel is as easy as pie!

The Yucatán loop was amazing! Eve was the perfect tour guide. So friendly and helpful and she really made the experience helpful. The food we ate was delicious and all of the activities were so much fun. I especially loved swimming on all the cenotes they were so beautiful. The whole trip was so much fun and even if there were time where something was not running smoothly, Eve was quick to resolve any issues for us.
My experience in Yucatán, Mexico was absolutely incredible and exceeded all my expectations! From start to finish, the trip was filled with a perfect mix of adventure, culture, history, and breathtaking nature. We explored ancient ruins that brought the rich Mayan history to life, swam in stunning cenotes, and enjoyed the vibrant local culture and cuisine that made every moment unforgettable.
What truly made this experience exceptional, however, was our amazing tour guide, Eve. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions and share fasci...
I did the 7 day Yucatán loop with Eve in March, and it was an AMAZING trip. If you’re even considering booking this trip, just do it!! Everything about this trip just totally blew me away and exceeded my expectations! Between seeing a world wonder, swimming in cenotes, exploring Holbox Island and experiencing the culture, this trip is the perfect balance of sightseeing, relaxing and history. One of my favorite parts was seeing the bioluminescence at night, which is something I have always wanted to see!
Eve was amazing and would always let us know what to expect for the next day....

Takes approximately 1 hour via taxi & costs around £65. There is also a bus from Playa Del Carmen to Cancun International Airport (CUN). This can be arranged through your tour guide and it normally costs around £13.
There are no luggage restrictions on the tour but we always recommend a backpack over a suitcase!

Depending on where you're travelling from it's likely that you won't need a visa to enter Mexico. You may need to complete an immigration form and have this with you when you enter and leave Mexico. We get asked this question ALOT! The thing is it completely depends on how much you'll want to spend on souvenirs, drinks, food and extra activities. We'd say between £50-80 a day for Mexico but for you it might be much less or much more (if you are buying round-after-round!)
