Sophie

Sophie is a travel writer, SEO specialist, and adventure enthusiast who’s been part of the TruTravels team since 2023. After setting off on her first solo trip in 2022, she fell completely in love with travel, so much so that she decided to swap her career in F1 for one that let her live the adventure first-hand. Starting as a TruTravels intern, Sophie is now part of the marketing team as a Content & SEO Executive, where she creates blogs and digital content designed to inspire and inform travellers around the world.

With first-hand experience exploring Sri Lanka, India, Bali, Cambodia, Singapore, and Vietnam, Sophie writes from genuine experience, sharing practical travel tips, destination insights, and advice you can trust. Her work focuses on responsible and group travel, helping readers plan meaningful trips that combine adventure, culture, and connection.

A proud Type A planner turned group travel convert, Sophie loves how TruTravels takes the stress out of travel, letting you just show up, make friends, and dive into the adventure. Her writing has helped hundreds of travellers discover the best places to visit, what to expect on tour, and how to make the most of their time abroad.

When she’s not making travel content, you’ll find Sophie planning her next trip, exploring new destinations, or chatting all things travel with the TruTravels community.
