MENJANGAN ISLAND

Some of the best snorkel spot's around Bali are found around the bays of Menjangan Island. Lying 10km far northwest of Bali, the island is protected from the West Bali National Park. The word "Menjangan" in the Javanese language means "Deer". It been said the name was given by the local population, who observed wild deer herds swimming to the island every spring. Watch out as it is not a surprise to see a deer swimming in the water here!

It’s a lively ambiance, yet paradise waters makes this place one of our best snorkel spots around Bali. About 20 meters off the shore, past the fascinating coral reef, is a deep sea wall. A great attraction to the underwater life! The best feeling is floating around the warm waters and watching the weird and wonderful sea life that swims by. TULAMBEN

Besides the sandy beaches, Tulamben offers unique underwater scenery, which is even visible from the surface. Among the school's of fish is the famous USAT Liberty shipwreck. The ship has been sunk for more than 40 years, making it a number one snorkel/scuba diving destination in Bali. The shallow area of the wreck lies only about 4 meters, or 13 feet deep, making it easy to access even by snorkelers. In the water, the Wreck sits from about 3m all the way down to 28m. A deep and daring dive but for sure worth it!

MANTA POINT- KOMODO NATIONAL PARK
