So, whether you're into ancient cities, wild islands, or underwater magic, we’ve rounded up some of the most mind-blowing UNESCO sites from around the world to get your travel dreams fired up.

1. Great Barrier Reef, Australia
Let’s kick things off by going under the sea! The Great Barrier Reef is calling! Stretching over 2,300 km along Australia’s east coast, it’s the largest coral reef system on Earth (it’s even visible from space!). Snorkel and swim alongside turtles, reef sharks, clownfish, and technicolour coral gardens. 2. Terracotta Warriors, Xi’an, China
This one’s for the history lovers and those who want to see something with the “wow-factor”. The Terracotta Warriors are one of those places that genuinely stop you in your tracks. Discovered in 1974 (so super recently really), this vast army of life-sized soldiers, horses and chariots was buried over 2,000 years ago to guard China’s first emperor in the afterlife. Each warrior has unique facial features, making the scale and detail even more mind-blowing when you see them in person. Standing face-to-face with thousands of ancient warriors, it is a must-visit exhibition in China!

3. Petra, Jordan
Next stop: straight into the pages of an adventure movie. Once a thriving ancient capital, Petra is now one of the world’s most iconic archaeological sites. Walk through the Siq, emerge in front of the stunning Treasury (aka that Indiana Jones scene), and explore tombs, temples, and canyons that look straight out of a fantasy film. 6. Rabat, Morocco
Do you like your history with a coastal twist? Morocco’s capital, Rabat, blends ancient heritage with modern, laid-back vibes in the best way possible. Wander through the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of the Udayas with its blue-and-white streets overlooking the Atlantic, explore historic sites like the Hassan Tower, or stroll along the palm-lined waterfront as the sun sets. 7. Komodo National Park, Indonesia
Dragons do exist, and you’ll find them here. Komodo National Park is one of Indonesia’s most wild and wonderful spots (and it's still relatively unknown!) Home to the famous Komodo dragons, these giant lizards that look like they came straight from Jurassic Park. But there’s more than just dragons.
