1. Petra - the ICON

When you think of Jordan, this is probably the image you have in your mind. This epic spot was once the bustling capital of the Nabataean Kingdom; now it's an awesome spot carved straight into rock. Wander through the Siq (the dramatic canyon entrance, which some people claim is the best bit) and step out in front of the jaw-dropping Treasury. Honestly, no photos can do this place justice; however awesome you think it's going to be, times that by ten!

Petra’s way more than one photo op though, when you are there you HAVE to walk up to the Monastery, explore the ancient tombs, and soak up the magic as the sun moves over the sandstone cliffs. It’s just completely mind-blowing.

Keen to visit but don't know how to plan your dream trip? Our BRAND NEW Jordan Uncovered tour is launching in September - the spots are limited and the demand is going to be BIG, so if you are keen, make sure you join our mailing list now.

2. Wadi Rum

This insane desert is probably the closest you’ll get to outer space - unless you're Katy Perry, of course... This protected wilderness is all red dunes and towering rock formations. It’s no wonder movies like The Martian, Dune, and Star Wars were filmed here. This spot is perfect for all you set-jetter and just like Morocco, this is such an underrated spot to geek out about your favourite films and TV shows.

One thing you have to do whilst you're here is go glamping under the stars in a Bedouin camp! The best way to get there is by taking a 4x4 ride through the valley - that's the perfect way to see just how huge this desert really is!

Not sure how to arrange this epic experience - our Jordan Uncovered tour has all this and more included, sit back (on your jeep in the desert) and let us sort the rest.

3. Jerash

Think Rome... but with fewer crowds and way more falafel (and hummus) nearby. The ancient city of Jerash is one of the best-preserved Roman archaeological sites outside of Italy, and it’s seriously impressive and so so worth a visit. We’re talking grand temples and amphitheatres where you can practically hear the ancient cheers.

While Jerash itself isn’t a standalone UNESCO site yet, it’s part of the ‘Tentative List’, basically, it’s next in line. And trust us, it deserves the spotlight. We don't like labels, so we're unofficially labelling this awesome spot as a Tru Wonder of the World!

4. As-Salt

If you’re after that authentic, old-school Jordan vibe, As-Salt delivers. Recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2021, this historic hilltop town was once the most important settlement in the region before Amman took the spotlight.

Picture golden limestone buildings, endless alleyways, and colourful markets where you'll get all your souvenirs. It’s now known as the “City of Tolerance and Urban Hospitality” and for good reason. As-Salt showcases centuries of peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians, and the locals’ warm welcome is part of the magic. You see good vibes all around!

We LOVE Jordan, and we cannot wait to show you around this amazing spot! Jordan Uncovered is dropping in September, so make sure you join our mailing list now. You won't want to miss out on this epic 8-day adventure which will be running from March.
