With the recent coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we would like to reassure you that your safety, health and wellbeing is our top priority. We have a duty to you and to the communities we operate in to ensure that everyone is safe and provided with the most up to date advice regarding the situation in the destinations that we travel in. Because of this, we are always compliant with any FCO (Foreign Commonwealth Office) & WHO (World Health Organisation) guidelines regarding travel to our destinations.
We have therefore made the difficult, but we feel the necessary decision to suspend all upcoming tours from the 18th March 2020 - 30th April 2020 inclusive.
We are offering all customers booked on trips during this time the following -
1) Free date change to another 2020 date.
2) 110% Travel credit that can be used on a future TruTravels tour.
I'm sure you can understand this was a very difficult decision for us and we have taken it with your safety in mind. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we reach out to all of our Tru Family. Please bear with us through this challenging time. If you have booked a tour scheduled to depart between March 18th 2020 and April 30th 2020, you will be provided with a future travel credit valued at 110% of the price paid for your tour and any ancillary services including hotels, and transfers; but excluding airfare and insurance.
TruTravels are not offering refunds on suspended tours.
Redeeming your travel credit is easy. Your travel credit is valid for 2 years from date of issue and can used against any TruTravels tour. When you are ready to book your next tour simply contact our sales team who will make the booking and apply your credit onto your new booking.
If your tour is set to depart outside the suspension window, and also is 30-59 days in advance of your current first travel date; you may change your destination (or choose a later departure date) free of charge, or receive a travel credit for money paid for your tour. We will continue to monitor developments and will be in touch with all customers on a priority basis.
