The beauty of joining a group tour!

Meet Charlotte, one of our Tru Travelers currently on our 10 day Bali tour. Here she tells us of her experience so far!

Some people say that booking onto a group tour may be a bit mundane but I've found them to be the complete opposite...

The main reason that I always get attracted to book group tours in general instead of travelling independently, is the feeling you get when you first meet your tour leader and group. It's a feeling of excitement and knowing that this is just the beginning of an amazing time. That is then topped with all memories that you will share together.

The beauty of a group tour is that it brings together people from all over the world, of all different nationalities. Those who wouldn't hang out normally seamlessly bond more than anyone else and you automatically gain friends for life, all across the globe. How else would you be able to speak to so many different people at once?! When booking onto a tour with TruTravels, you're guaranteed to have a great time! Everything is planned from start to finish. No worrying about transport, activities, bars, you name it! It is all organised for you. There is no stress and no time wasting trying to find somewhere good to eat as your tour guide will already know the best place in town!

It's not just the easiness of tours that always had me sold. You share amazing memories with strangers who are soon to become friends for life. Not only do you get the experience of travelling around some amazing places, you also have the privilege of getting to know your fellow tour group and learning about their life experiences too.

In the back of your mind, you can always feel reassured that when you're on a tour you'll be safe, and that goes a long way when travelling. I'm writing this whilst currently on the 10 day Bali experience and this was my first time to Indonesia. Being a bit apprehensive, I chose Bali to explore but was concerned about the culture difference and how safe it was. In hindsight, I don't know why I was worried at all! We have been given the opportunity to do activities as a group, as well as independently so we have our own time to chill.

I would definitely recommend choosing to go on a tour if you want a blend of culture, partying and sightseeing. It has something for everyone and that's the beauty of a group tour.
