Koh Phangan is most famously known as the island home to the wild wonders of the full moon party on Haad Rin beach. But little do people know that this island is also home to many other hidden gems. All it takes is to veer off the beaten track a little and you can discover the beauty of bottle beach.
Bottle beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. With just a few beach bungalows and a restaurant, it's laid back atmosphere makes it appealing to chilled out travelers looking for a place to come and relax. Take some time out in your hammock watching the sunset from your bungalow, or enjoy a cocktail or two from the restaurant and listen to the waves roll in.
We are lucky enough to share this beautiful gem with you on our Southern Thailand trips where you will stay in your very own bungalows, all with an en suite bathroom and hammock. Winning! We have made some great friends here and it is one of our favourite spots in Asia, so now it is only fair that we share it with the rest of you! You will meet the awesome Babu, born to entertain and the friendliest guy we know. Occasionally you may catch him doing a fire show too which is always a treat. No doubt you will run into P Por's puppies, which are just the cutest little fluff balls ever so if you are a dog lover, prepare yourself!
Sucker for a sunset?
Every bungalow faces the sea so you are always going to be in the prime sunset spot!
Explore the jungle!
Bottle beach is also surrounded by gorgeous jungle so those of you who are a fan of trekking can take a walk to the viewpoint which is the highest point of the island. Other activities to enjoy are snorkeling, kayaking and diving. What more could you want hey?!
Relax, unwind and make memories with travelers from all over the world. If you are thinking about heading to Thailand, just remember this little slice of paradise. We hope you love it as much as we do! Check out this article for or more info on the best beaches in Koh Phangan.
