Our Story

Picture this...two guys in their 20s, 9-5ing and running the rat race. They were burning out fast and couldn't help but think there MUST be more to life than spreadsheets and suits! They wanted to leave ordinary behind and find out if extraordinary was out there and so they did...

Soon, they swapped the corporate life for elephant pants and sunset beers and never looked back! They shared a dream of creating adventures that allowed people to explore all around the world, create long-lasting friendships and give back to the amazing communities along the way. TruTravels was born!

Our Flashpacker style is for those who want to experience our bucket list activities, but with a little more comfort and style. We've included all the best bits of our Classic tours, but with higher standards of accommodation, transport and activities. Done with the hostel vibe? Then this is your natural progression. It still has the epic backpacker vibe, but a bit more boujee. We like to call it ballin’ on a budget. From backpacker to Flashpacker.

It's time to pack away the bikinis and head to the mountains! This travel style 'Ski and Apres' has us trading in the beaches Tru is so famous for and swapping into our ski gear! We've found the perfect balance of learning new skills and sliding the slopes with a well-deserved party and apres ski! This trip is guaranteed to be one to remember! That's s'no'w joke.
